Dennis is the President of Appreciative Strategies, LLC, a business he founded in 2006. He is an author, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and a proven leadership, generations, and customer service expert. As an author, Dennis has published five books and contributed to works in eight other books published by Pfeiffer. His two most recent books, #CustServ The Customer Service Culture, and Forgotten Respect, Navigating a Multigenerational Workforce, are popular with his clients and are often used as tools for personal and professional development.

With information and strategies from his most recent book, #CustServ The Customer Service Culture, he will be discussing how the human resource function contributes to the service culture through operations. Dennis Gilbert will address and solidify the relevancy for organizations to develop more of a culture of service. Too often organizations look at customer service as a department. What happens internally is what is reflected externally. HR can play a significant role in role modeling a practice of high-performance service. He will also discuss why this is more important now than ever and what trends will look like in the future.

Each year, the WBHRS board selects a charitable organization to contribute to by collecting donations during certain meetings. WBHRS would like to ask you to donate the following items for the Men at the Life Center Merit House during the month of May:
