Scholarship Program

The West Branch Human Resource Society (WBHRS) is an affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves Human Resource professionals across a diverse group of businesses and industries in North-Central Pennsylvania. Whether you're a newcomer to Human Resources or a seasoned veteran, we offer local networking opportunities, valuable information, professional development resources, and ongoing support for Human Resource excellence.

Our mission is to serve as a premier resource hub for Human Resource practitioners, small business professionals, non-profits, and the wider business community. We aim to provide essential and comprehensive resources, trainings, and collaborations for our members, fostering excellence in Human Resources across our region.

Being a member of the WBHRS has a number of advantages including:

WBHRS Membership runs January through December, renewing annually. Begining in 2026, quarterly member meetings will be held at the Williamsport Country Club. There is a fee to attend these meetings. Our more informal "What's Brewing in HR?" sessions are also held quarterly and are free to attend.
