LGBTQ+ Inclusion for the Workplace: Building HR Awareness, Etiquette, & Best Practices - Virtual Program Presentation
Efforts have been made in recent years to advance equality and inclusion, but there are still many instances where Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Questioning, and other gender and sexually marginalized identities (LGBTQ+) people find themselves excluded, unwelcome, and uncomfortable in the workplace. According to the Human Rights Campaign, up to 50% of employees report hiding their sexual orientation at work due to bias, hostility, discrimination, and mistreatment.
